AC37 RACE VILLAGE AND BASES
Get ready to dive into the heart of sailing’s biggest party – the 37th America’s Cup, right in the heart of Barcelona! From August to October 2024, Port Vell, Port Marina Vela and the new Port Olimpic are transforming into the ultimate fan zones, with a race village at Moll de la Fusta that’s so welcoming, it’s free to enter!
Here’s the lowdown on where the teams are hanging their sails:
- Emirates Team New Zealand is setting up camp by the World Trade Center, snagging a spot that’s as prestigious as their title.
- INEOS Britannia and Alinghi Red Bull Racing are making themselves at home near the Maremagnum shopping mall. Shopping spree, anyone?
- Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli picked Port Marina Vela as their base, right next to the swanky W Hotel. Talk about sailing in style!
- American Magic is cozied up in the Marina Barcelona 92 superyacht facility, because go big or go home, right?

Rental periods
Our boats are available for rental from August 20th to October 27th. This period encompasses the excitement of the America’s Cup, allowing you to witness the action up close.
Pick-up location
Collection time
You are welcome to collect your boat from 12am onwards at RCNB. This allows you to make the most of your day on the water.
RETURN INSTRUCTIONS
Return Instructions: Please ensure the boat is returned before 7pm daily. This allows us to maintain and prepare the vessels for the next day’s adventures.
INSURANCE AND DOCUMENTATION
For your peace of mind, all our boats come with full insurance coverage, including passengers. Upon delivery, we will provide you with a comprehensive contract that outlines all the details, alongside official tax documentation.
PREPARATION AND SAFETY
Expect to set sail on a boat that is clean, fully fueled, and equipped with all necessary safety gear. Our meticulous preparation ensures you can focus on enjoying the sailing experience.
PERSONALIZED HANDOVER
A dedicated member of the Renting Ribs team will meet you at the club entrance to hand over the RIB personally. We’ll also provide you with a contact number for any coordination needs on the day of your rental.
SKIPPER REQUIREMENTS
To ensure you have the freedom to navigate your adventure, our rentals are provided without a skipper. You will need to present an international navigation license to captain the boat.
TRANSPARENT PRICING
All rental prices include VAT, ensuring no hidden costs. We believe in transparent pricing so you can plan your experience with confidence.

PRICE RATES PER DATES
Prices are calculated per tier and models.
Period 1: from 20th August to 13th September
Period 2: from 14th September to 25th September
Period 3: from 26th September to 27th October
CANCELLATIONS BY RENTING RIBS
If the rental is canceled by Renting Ribs: If the cancellation is due to bad weather, another alternative day is arranged, or the entire amount paid is returned, except if the cause is directly derived from the competition authorities or the competition itself. In this case, we will only refund 25% of the total amount. We WARN that a CANCELLATION may be due to causes derived from the competition itself, especially in the final phase -America’s Cup Match- since the «best of 7» format may result in a premature winner (could be the 20th or not) not completing the entire schedule. In this case, 25% of the deposit amount will be returned.
CANCELLATIONS BY CUSTOMER
If canceled by the customer: If the customer gives notice of cancellation up to 15 days before departure, 50% of the amount paid is returned. If notice is given up to 7 days before departure, 25% of the amount is returned. The amount paid will not be returned if the customer gives notice less than 7 days before departure.
